MALVERN
is a leading supplier of
particle analysis solutions for characterization and
rheological applications. Advanced measurement technologies
are combined with robust mechanical designs, and
comprehensive data handling and automation software, to
provide industrially relevant systems to sectors as diverse
as pharmaceuticals and cement.
Malvern Mastersizer
2000

The Mastersizer 2000 is a
modular instrument designed for the measurement of the
particle size distribution of wet and dry samples. It has a
wide range of sample dispersion units including an
Autosampler. Fully automated, it delivers results based on
standardized procedures designed to eliminate user-to-user
variability.
Full QSpec validation
documentation available including compliance with 21 CFR
Part 11.

Malvern Zetasizer Nano

The
Zetasizer Nano series can measure a combination of three of
the most important parameters for the colloid and polymer
chemist, particle size, zeta potential and molecular weight.
The new technology incorporated in these systems provides
unequalled sensitivity and versatility. The patented NIBS
optics incorporated into the Nano Z and Nano ZS also allows
measurements of samples with little or no dilution.
The Zetasizer Nano ZS is the
pinnacle of the Malvern Zetasizer Nano series and can
measure all three parameters with no performance
compromises.

Malvern Spractec -
Spray Particle Analyzer

Spraytec is the new Malvern
system that provides users with in-situ,
real-time measurements of the particle size distribution of
sprays and aerosols.
Using the technique of laser
diffraction, Spraytec has been specifically designed to
address the unique requirements for spray characterization,
yielding robust, reproducible results.
The Spraytec NSS (Nasal Spray
System) provides users with the ability to fully
characterize the output of nasal pump sprays, offering a
route to meeting the US FDA’s recommendations for nasal
spray testing. In addition, the system can be used to
understand the overall performance characteristics of a
given pump and formulation, allowing users to determine how
the delivered droplet size varies according to the applied
actuation profile.
Malvern Sysmex
FPIA-3000

The Sysmex FPIA-3000 enables
reliable, repeatable and routine characterization of
particle size and particle shape using automated imaging
techniques.
Particle shape information is generated from the analysis of
a large number of particles, displays of size and shape data
are supported by images of all particles to provide further
visual understanding of the measurement data. Particle shape
provides an additional parameter to understand the source of
manufacturing variations.
